Always a good atmosphere... Always friendly to out bicycle group that can get quite large at times. Very nice place.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and to watch some football. Greeted by a very friendly bartender who also served us, Cat. We got there right when they opened at 11, so there were only a couple of patrons at the bar. We chose a booth facing a couple of TV's and Cat turned on the game we wanted to watch. She was very friendly and prompt with service. The food and drinks were fantastic! We will be back!
(5)Spencer B.
Really makes you feel like you are at your local bar ! Really sweet girls working it (ask for dee) sandwiches were 7/10 great for a pub! I would definitely come back for seconds!
(5)A G.
Awesome little Irish pub in Old Town St Augustine. Fantastic sandwiches...husband says it's the best Reuben he's ever had. Great owners, friendly staff. Sports on TV. Local bands. Trivia. Even a pirate or two!
(5)Joe S.
Love Ann's. Great staff, great beer. This is a must stop everytime I am in town. From the owners down to the many regulars that hang here make this a great stop for a tasty pint, or 2, or .... well you get what I mean. And where else in St. Aug will u find a pub that loves the Buffalo Sabres.
(5)Ophelia B.
Great Irish acoustic punk music. Good service. I would definitely come here again. The company was delightful. My chardonnay was buttery. Hearing everyone in the bar sing "500 Miles" by the Proclaimers was the highlight of the night
(5)Andre W.
Awesome authentic Irish Pub to drink in and they even have a room upstairs if you need a place to crash LOL!
(5)Maggie W.
Good. Charming little pub. Good Reuben, nice folks.
(3)James B.
First off, the only reason I stopped at 4 stars is because the food selection is pretty minimal. Don't go in expecting a "dinner" type meal. We had the loaded nachos and then I had the corn beef rueben and both were great. Definitely a fun place to hang out. If you are out walking around old St. Augustine you deinately need to stop in. A parking hint. If you go late enough in the evening, you can park in the train tour lot right next door.

Awesome little bar located in downtown St. Augustine. Can't believe I've lived here (and drank enough) in this small town and had never been here. Love the atmosphere- just a cool place, where everyone is relaxing and enjoying some pints. Lots of Irish beers on tap, soccer is usually on the TV, and a lot of friendly folks fill this place up. Definitely a nice break from places like No Name or Scarlett's which are usually packed with college kids and crappy bands. I haven't had a chance to sample the food, but the menu looks pretty tasty, especially after a few pints of Harp or Kilkenny's. Tried a snakebite, and LOVED it. Good bartenders that know how to take care of you. Bar area isn't huge, but there's lots of tables available to relax, enjoy your drinks, and watch some TV while you enjoy the company of old friends and the introduction of some new friends. Can't think of much else to say except that this may be my new favorite watering hole in downtown St. Augustine.
(5)Bryan W.
Half off once a week for teachers!!!!!!!!! How can you go wrong!
(5)Andrea G.
After a day of wandering through St. Augustine, one of the people in our party had decided he wanted to do karaoke, and, lo and behold, we wandered by this place and saw they had Sunday night karaoke. Done. $2 domestic pints all night? Even doner. And they suffered through six tourists terribly monopolizing the karaoke machine all night, for which we were very grateful.
(5)Rich H.
Great local spot and a great place to get started in St Augustine. Had an excellent roast beef sub and a couple of Harps. Great service from bartender Kelly. Live a couple of blocks away and will be returmning often.
(5)Rachel N.
Solid place to sit and drink good beer, eat good food, enjoy good company with hilarious people watching. The staff make this place the place to be but they have delicious beers on tap and serve up a delectable beef weck on Sunday. I suggest the Golden Monkey but take it easy. It's a 9.9 with a wicked buzz.
(5)Ann M.
Great atmosphere, cold beer and a welcoming staff! Feel like a local at this place.
(5)Rose S.
Not a fan. All the reviews were good so I decided to check it out but I wish I didnt. The service was ok... the food was not good and it was an overall bad experience. The staff was sharing horror stories of what happened there on St. Pattys but as im eating i dont want to hear a story about someone pooping themselves in your bar...Might be good as a bar at night but I went around lunch time and it was a sour experience. Not a fan...
(1)Anthony D.
The sandwiches here are very, very good. The service was a little spotty, but not bad. My wife had a Rueben and I had the Marty, both were really good. We split one of each and I was not disappointed in either of these sandwiches. My son had the philly cheese steak, which since we visited my family in Philly, has been a let down for him. Other than that this place will satisfy all your food needs in St. Augustine. If you want a good Sandwich, this is the place for you.
(4)Fiona H.
Sandwiches were yummy & a really nice atmosphere with excellent service. I had the Marty sandwich with the coleslaw on the side. The rest of the family got the Ruben, turkey melt, & philly and everyone enjoyed it. All the sandwiches come with a pickle & sea salt chips.
(5)Timothy M.
Stopped in after having a dinner out on Saint George Street. Good place to grab a quick drink. Nice live music. They recommended a place called Mojo Old City BBQ for food which we tried the next day. It was great also!!
(4)Elaine W.
What a great experience. This place goes to show you that you don't need a big, fancy place to have a really enjoyable and memorable experience. Their staff are very good at what they do, and very personable. We sat at the bar and both enjoyed the Marty. A very simple, yet delicious pastrami sandwich. We hung out there for awhile, played Cards Against Humanity, and just really enjoyed ourselves. I can see this becoming our regular spot for sure.
(5)Renee O.
Me and my husband stopped in for lunch and were met with happy smiling staff who were inviting and helpful while trying to decide on a sandwich to choose. I ordered the Marty (pastrami, bacon, coleslaw, and homemade 1000 island dressing). My husband decided on a traditional Rueben. The waiter suggested splitting our sandwiches so we got to try both, which I thought was so nice to suggest since it was our first visit. We LOVED them both!!! We are definitely coming back to this place every time we come to town! Delicious!!
(5)Jamie D.
Stopped in for a sandwich and a pint, nice casual place. The owner is from Buffalo, if you're in st Augustine on a Sunday you can get a beef on weck sandwich there.
(5)Andy J.
Stopped here for the first time on Sunday specifically for the Beef on Weck. We have been to other places that claimed to have Beef on Weck that turned out to be dried out chewy roast beef on a hamburger bun, so we did not get our hopes up. It was outstanding! It is tender roast beef server on a real kimmelweck roll with ground horseradish. Even got to wash it down with a Molson Canadian. If you are not from Buffalo you can't appreciate that this is not possible outside of western NY. As a bonus it was Sunday and the Bills were playing. Turns out this is the home of the Bills Backer's too! Great food and a friendly owner. We are huge fans of Ann O'Malley's and will be back the next time we are in St. Augustine.
(5)Andy C.
This place is a must stop for a beer, music, game and a great sandwich. A St augustine institution. Haunted too. If you really want to have fun, stay upstairs at Pub Life. It's a great room and so much fun to stumble upstairs after hanging at the pub. Wonderful owners. Go!
(5)Julia C.
We went here looking for a light lunch & they didn't disappoint! I got a simple corned beef on rye with tomato, lettuce, & mayo. The corned beef was a great cut of beef & delicious. My husband had one of their specialty sandwiches & I can only guess it was good because he barely said a word and ate it all up. They had many beers, but we passed with it being barely noon.
(5)Brittany B.
We stop in at Ann O Mailey's every time we go to St Augustine. Grab a drink and a quick good bite before hitting the shop is always our favorite plan. The staff seems to remember everyone and it seems like a great place to watch sports!
(5)Kimberly G.
We had a great lunch with some beers here today! Had a nice outside - we will definitely be back on our next trip!
(5)Brian H.
Got to stay at the bed n breakfast on top of this pub. Had cold beers and awesome sandwiches. This is a place where the locals go. I would recommend this bar to anyone visiting. Their bed n breakfast was such a great value as well.
(5)Katherine S.
Best Pub in Town. Food is always fresh and delicious, the staff is amazing, the atmosphere is fun, and they have the best games on TV. Get down there dammit and have a beef on weck (sundays only of course)!!!
(5)Lisa O.
They are at a great location. However, I've been to better Irish Pubs. When I go to an Irish pub, I expect more Irish food than American food in the menu.
(2)Cocobe L.
Awesome local no hard liquor ...Guinness on tap . Always makes me very happy. I have never tired the food. Friendly atmosphere. Cool shop I the back.
(4)Don W.
Yelp led me here, the food brought me back the next day! Very friendly and personable staff, owners, and locals. Day 1: Turkey Ruben, Day 2: The Beef on Weck (of course!) Next time I am in St Augustine, this will be one of my first stops.
(5)James M.
Bottom line: This PUB is OUTSTANDING!!! Disclosure: I'm active duty and have a bias to / British Public Houses (PUBS). Never before have I found the "spirit" of a PUB outside of the UK, BUT this PUB is 'IT'! You must come and feel it for yourself!!! The food was outstanding and the beer was better. BEER: Obviously clean lines and perfectly poured.
(5)Diana M.
This is a cool little bar on the outskirts of the craziness around the shopping at Saint Augustine. The local people here are super friendly and are always looking for someone new to engage in conversation. Lots of fun beers on tap to check out and they also have live music on the weekends.
(4)Jeff K.
Not a whole lot to say about our short visit to this little pub -- it was crowded on our arrival so we didn't stay for too long. But we quickly got our drinks and enjoyed the talented live music for a while before moving on. Definitely merits a return trip when we come back in a few weeks.
(4)Carla L.
They close early on some days, and we happened to only have time for a quick beer and couldn't eat because it was closing. It was pretty early (about 5PM) and we had just finished wandering around the cemetary that was right in front and figured that an Irish Pub would have some great grub. I guess the service was a reflection of the fact that they really wanted to get out of there. I can't say I was impressed, but I might have just hit them on a bad day?
(2)Ferbs J.
Stifling and overpriced strictly for tourist style dump. Down from PV with guests in tow, looking to show them a good time. Wife and I looked in and saw only 2 customers--but the place was air conditioned, and it was a muggy Florida day, so we chanced it. Even though the bartender acknowledged us at first, we did not seem a priority, and the only other guests were leaving as we arrived. We sat a while as the bartender ignored us and finally as we got up to leave we were asked if we wanted something. Regret not leaving, as the sandwiches were in the HIGH range for thin stale bread containing crispy over-salted meat slapped down in front of us with the charm of a gorilla. And I don't know what is Irish about the place. as menu has nachos and run of the mill sammies you can find better elsewhere. How about adding corned beef and cabbage, or a meat pie, or even the new world irish eggroll? Oh well, just another lousy "Irish" pub haunting St. Augustine. Strictly for tourists who won't be back. Burger Buckets right next door is where we should have gone--colder beer, and BURGERS!!
(1)Deana P.
Nice little hide out with good sandwiches and beer. 5 televisions so kind of a sports bar feel. Very cozy with great staff that makes you feel welcome. Try the Reuben!! It's the best in town..
(5)Alabama F.
AMAZING. Spent the morning walking around old town and got a thirsty. This place was super inviting with the doors open and cool music playing. A buddy and I decided to grab 2 beers and split a Rueben. It was perfect. The beer was ice cold. I had told the guy working we were splitting a sandwich and it was served in 2 baskets with chips and a pickle. We were stuffed, no way we could have eaten a whole one. We opted for the corned beef option instead of turkey. It was tender, juicy and served on perfectly toasted rye bread. The melted cheese was heaven and the sauerkraut not bitter. Can't wait to return.
(5)Peter M.
I came here on St Patrick's Day so how bad could it be! It is a small place that was very full of drinking folks who all seemed to be having a good time. The staff was very friendly and seemed to know many of the patrons. I liked the outside patio where you can stand and watch the world go by. They show all of the soccer games and when it rains they have $1 Yuengling. They also have some sort of special, entertainment or trivia every day of the week. I will have to give it another try when it is not St Patrick's Day and get a better feel for the place.
(3)Kristin W.
This is a great family owned pub. On Sundays they have delicious beef on weck! So good with a black velvet to wash it down. The owners could not be kinder. Definitely one of the best pubs in St. Augustine.
(4)Ronn W.
This was and is a good hangout for drinks during a pub crawl. I've been coming here off and on for 10 years now. Can't say much about the food, never tried it, just the beer. :) It's a cool place to have a drink and sit outside on the patio with some friends.
(5)Felicity I.
This quaint Irish bar was one of the best finds for us in St Augustine. We felt like Norm from Cheers as we chatted with the owners, locals and other fellow tourist. The beers were flowing and the band was keeping things going. If you go on sunday you must try the beef on weck! Yummy!!
